7 Best Columbia Tot Lots For Family Fun This Spring

Families in Columbia, Maryland, have a lot of options for entertaining their kids. One of the local favorites is tot lots, where children can spend hours and hours enjoying playgrounds with slides, swings, sandlots, and a ton of other activities. We put together a list of some of the best tot lots in the area and what they have to offer to make your choice for a weekend or afternoon of family fun even easier. Most of the parks in the area are maintained and safety checked by the Columbia Association, guaranteeing they'll be a safe, fun time for your kids. Check out the tot lots below and figure out which one is best for you and your family, then take your children there to meet other kids and parents and have a grand old time. Vantage Point Park Small, charming, and surrounded by scenic parkland, Vantage Point Park contains a great tot lot for younger children. Take your kids to the toddler-appropriate swing set in the park, or let them play on the slide and jungle gym nearby while you take a seat on one of the available benches and supervise. There's a gorgeous forest vista behind the play area and a gazebo further down where you can spend a quiet Sunday afternoon. The park is located on Vantage Point Road in the town center, making it easily accessible for most families in Columbia. Wyndham Park Wyndham Park has some swings suitable for toddlers and younger children, but it's also a great park to bring elementary-age children because there are more "grown-up" swings available, as well as a bigger slide that older kids will appreciate. You'll find Wyndham Park on the corner of Little Patuxent Parkway and Broken Land Parkway. Just like Vantage Point Park, Wyndham is also surrounded by lush green woodlands, making it a very relaxing destination for the whole family. Banneker Park Walk a little further down from Wyndham Park, and you'll come across Banneker Park, also located in Columbia's’ town center. In addition to the swings, slide, and jungle gym offered at the previous tot lots, this park also has mechanical horses and seahorses for younger children to ride, as well as a small tunnel to play in. Columbia Association Tot Lot OM9 Located at 9563 Wandering Way, Columbia, this tot lot is beloved by parents of younger children thanks to the playground horses and sandbox that provide hours of fun for young minds. Visit this tot lot in the spring and let your children enjoy the warmer weather playing outside in the sand, even if it's’ not quite summer beach weather yet. Columbia Association Tot Lot OB8 You'll find tot lot OB8 at 6564 Seedling Lane in Columbia. Do your young children have a fascination with cars and can't’ wait to grow up and be old enough to get their own? Well, take them here, where they can ride mechanical stationary cars meant for toddler-age children. If the woodland around some of the tot lots in the area makes you nervous for your kids, Tot Lot OB8 is located in a more residential area with less forested land around it, so you can easily keep an eye on your kids at all times and not have them slip into the woods. Wilde Lake Park Tot Lot Sometimes you want to head to a playground where the kids can have fun while, as parents, you can also enjoy the nature that surrounds you. If this is the fun weekend activity you're looking for, head out to Wilde Lake Park Tot Lot and enjoy the serene grounds of the park and 22-acre artificial lake while marveling at the trees starting to enter full bloom in the spring season. Next to one of the park's most visible landmarks, the barn, you'll find a tot lot for children that includes plenty of fun activities to keep them occupied. After the kids are done playing, take a stroll with them around the 1.5-mile path around the lake, and try to spot some of the birds that have started migrating back to the area, as well as other small wildlife that can be found in the park. Wilde Lake Park is located north of the town center at 10002 Hyla Brook Road. Dorsey Hall Pool Tot Lot Perhaps your family loves to combine a day of swimming with a day out in the park. If your child has already started lessons or just can't get enough of the water, Dorsey Hall Pool Tot Lot is the place for you. The hall has an eight-lane pool, as well as a wading pool (with a beach entry to make it easier to get in the water). Your children will love the water features and the water slide. Adjacent to the pool areas, you'll find a well-equipped tot lot that most Columbia area kids absolutely love, as well as basketball courts and sand volleyball courts if you have older athletic children that would like to join in on a day of family fun. To get to Dorsey Hall Pool Tot Lot, you'll have to venture slightly further, as the hall is located at 4649 Columbia Road in Ellicott City. However, trust us that the extra drive is definitely worth it, as Dorsey Hall tends to be an absolute favorite for local families. We know that every family is different, as is their preferred way of spending a sunny spring afternoon or brisk weekend day. Whether you have toddlers who like to swing all day or lots of children of different ages and interests and you'd like to spend a day together as a family, the Columbia area has the perfect tot lot to offer you and your family. If you visit a tot lot you love that we left out, please contact us at Koons Clarksville Chevrolet GMC in Clarksville, Maryland, and let us know, as we'd love to include it in a future post.

How Much Can the GMC Yukon Tow?

The 2023 GMC Yukon is a full-size SUV with the power and capability to haul cargo onboard the vehicle and via a towing and trailering system. As an SUV, its towing capacities are important because you and many other drivers may need a vehicle to haul trailers and other heavy payloads. If you're looking for a rugged SUV with the power to haul some of the heaviest loads then the 2023 GMC Yukon may be the SUV for you. Keep reading to learn about how much the Yukon can tow. Trim Levels The 2023 GMC Yukon comes in five trim levels and the performance packages, specifically the powertrain of each vehicle, can affect how much the Yukon can tow. The trim levels are SLE, SLT, AT4, Denali, and Denali Ultimate. Along with the difference in towing capacities, the higher the trim level of the Yukon the more luxury features you get on the exterior and interior of the SUV. For example, the Denali Ultimate comes with the option for a better towing package and transmission to support this additional package, which can further increase its towing capacity. Engines The trim levels also affect the availability of engines for the GMC Yukon. When you choose your trim level, you may get the option between three possible engines. The performance capabilities of each engine are below: 3.0-Liter Duramax Turbodiesel The 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel engine comes as an optional engine for each of the trim levels. This engine can output a maximum hp of 277 at 3,750 rpm and 460 lb-ft of torque at 1,500 rpm. As a powerful engine using diesel fuel, this engine can have an advantage over others when you're towing heavy loads. 5.3-Liter V-8 The 5.2-liter V-8 engine comes standard on the SLE, SLT, and AT4 trim levels of the vehicle and is optional on the Denali and Denali Ultimate. This engine can output 355 hp at 5,600 rpm and 383 lb-ft of torque at 4,100 rpm. As a gas-powered engine, this engine is often less expensive to maintain, though this can vary based on the regular fluctuations of gas and diesel prices. While it needs more power to tow heavy loads, it's still a capable engine with powerful towing capacities. 6.2-Liter V-8 The 6.2-liter V-8 engine comes standard on the Denali and Denali Ultimate trim levels of the 2023 GMC Yukon and is an available option for the AT4 trim level but not the SLE or SLT. This engine outputs 420 hp at 5,600 rpm and has 460 lb-ft of torque at 4,100 rpm. This engine is a massive upgrade over the 5.3-liter version but still needs more rpm to tow heavy loads. Even so, this engine can perform quite well when towing. Optional Towing and Trailering Packages GMC has two optional towing and trailering packages. The first is the ProGrade trailering system, which is an available option for the SLE, SLT, and AT4 trim levels and is standard on the Denali and Denali Ultimate editions. It offers the following equipment and technology to help while you're towing: Hitch guidance with hitch view to help you attach the hitch of the Yukon to trailers. In-vehicle trailering app to help you monitor and tow the trailer more effectively. Trailer blind zone alert system to help you monitor your trailer while driving, though it isn't available on the Yukon SLE. GMC also offers the Enhance Trailering Technology package, which is available on the AT4, Denali, and Denali Ultimate trim levels. It offers the following technology: Trailer camera provisions to help you monitor the trailer and towing via cameras. Trailering assist guidelines to improve your ability to attach trailers to your GMC Yukon. Auxiliary trailer camera to install and help you monitor your trailer more effectively. Towing Capacity The total towing capacity of the 2023 GMC Yukon can vary based on the powertrain of the vehicle, which is affected by the trim levels, performance packages, and the other options you can select when you get a new 2023 GMC Yukon. All 2023 Yukon trim levels come with basic towing and trailering including basic towing equipment and trailer sway control. All of the values are based on having the correct towing equipment. Below are the towing capacities for each trim level of the vehicle: SLE The SLE is the base model of the 2023 GMC Yukon and it has a GVWR of 7,400 pounds. While this is a relatively low GVWR, the SLE doesn't have the performance packages and additional equipment and power to tow particularly heavy loads. Even so, this is an impressive value for a base model of trucks and SUVs. The SLE does have access to a package and set up to give it an additional 100 pounds, for a total GVWR of 7,500 pounds. SLT The SLT has similar systems to the SLE and as such also has a GVWR of 7,400 pounds. For this version, it's still a powerful towing and cargo capacity. Like the SLE and AT4, it's important to have the right equipment for the trailer and cargo you want to haul. The SLT also has an available package to haul 7,500 pounds. AT4 Starting with the AT4 trim level, the standard towing capacity of the vehicle increases to a GVWR of 7,500 pounds. It comes with the standard equipment to increase the GVWR such as a more powerful engine and access to better packages for towing and trailering. Denali The Denali comes with more interior features to improve comfort and luxury but its standard setup decreases the GVWR back to 7,400 pounds. With access to the optional towing and trailering features, it can increase its capacity to 7,500 pounds, which is an improvement over its base but makes it comparable to the AT4. Denali Ultimate The Denali Ultimate trim level comes with the highest GVWR of the trim levels at an impressive 7,700 pounds. Since it has both optional packages standard, it comes as no surprise that it's the most powerful trim level for the 2023 GMC Yukon. Depending on the trim level you choose, you can have a durable cloth interior or a leather interior. Chevrolet designed each one to last for the entire lifetime of the vehicle under normal wear and tear. The interior also comes in a combination of jet black and other colors, including chai for both leather and cloth and then leather options in red, maple, black, and clove. These colors depend on the trim level of your Traverse and improve the style of the interior. Entertainment For entertainment options, the LS and LT-Cloth trim levels come with a 7-inch infotainment system with a touch screen, and the LT-Leather features a slightly larger touch screen that's 8 inches. At the RS trim level and above, the vehicle comes with an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system and an included navigation system. For even more entertainment, you get a wireless charging station for your smartphone, which can help you stay connected with your everyday life while inside your vehicle. This option comes on every trim level except the LS. Finally, the vehicle comes standard with Wi-Fi hotspot capability. Comfort Depending on the trim level, you can get massive comforts, though those that come standard on the base model are plentiful. You get 10 cup holders spaced throughout the vehicle to hold drinks safely. At the RS level and above, you also get a 120-volt power outlet so you can connect after-market technology to the vehicle, such as chargers for devices, speakers, and remote access. Remote access can allow you to lock the doors and run diagnostics across all trim levels. At higher trim levels, you can even start your Traverse remotely. If these features aren't enough, there's plenty more to help you create a comfortable driving experience. Reduce road noise inside the vehicle cabin with active noise cancelation, or use the adjustable seats in the front seats to find your perfect seating arrangement. Depending on the trim level, the seats may be manual adjustments or powered. Go Ice Skating at These 5 Ice Skating Rinks Near Clarksville, MD

If you've ever tried it, you know that, for some reason, strapping on boots with blades of steel on the bottom and using them to propel yourself across a frozen, frictionless surface is, well, fun. Really fun. And, surprisingly, ice skating is something that you can do at just about any age, which makes it a wonderful family activity. Before the late 1800s, ice skating could only be done in fairly uncomfortable winter conditions, making it something everyone in the family might not have enjoyed. But when refrigeration technology came along, it provided a way to freeze large, still surfaces of water. This made climate-controlled ice skating possible, and the smoothest ice surfaces could be maintained all year. Today, going ice skating is a great activity that the entire family can enjoy comfortably, no matter what time of year you feel like skating. With that in mind, we're delighted to tell you about some great locations for ice skating that aren't far from our home here in Clarksville, Maryland. Here are five options you'll appreciate when you and your family are ready for some ice-skating fun: Columbia Ice Rink At Columbia Ice Rink there are times reserved for skating lessons and programs, but it also reserves times for public skating sessions every day of the week. 2023 Chevy Colorado Off-Road Capabilities

If you want to take your vehicle off-road, you need to make sure it’s up for the challenge. You can’t just take any vehicle off-road, as this could easily lead to damage to the vehicle, injuries to the people inside, or getting stuck. For those of you looking for a pickup truck that can handle tougher terrain, one great option to consider is the new 2023 Chevrolet Colorado. This model features everything you’d want in an off-road vehicle while still being a joy to drive in all other situations. Below, we’ll explain what makes the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado such a great off-roading vehicle. What To Look For in an Off-Road Vehicle There are several factors you’ll want to look at when considering how capable a vehicle is off-road. These factors include: Vehicle Tires One of the easiest things to look at is the tires. There are many different kinds of tires, with some performing better on slippery roads, some built for speed, and others designed to handle rough terrain. When shopping for a vehicle, you should try to find one that comes with all-terrain tires, as these will give you the best grip when going off-road. While you could always add off-road tires after purchasing a vehicle, getting them included is a great way to save money and save yourself some time. All-Wheel Drive Having all-wheel drive is a necessity whenever you’re looking for a vehicle that can go off-road. With an all-wheel-drive powertrain, the engine delivers power to each wheel. This gives it more control when navigating tough terrain. It’ll be much harder to get stuck in a vehicle with all-wheel drive as opposed to front-wheel drive. Many trucks and SUVs now come with all-wheel drive, although in some cases, it’s an optional upgrade. Make sure whatever model you select comes with all-wheel drive for the best off-roading capabilities. Vehicle Suspension A vehicle’s suspension determines how comfortable the driving experience is when going off-road. The better the suspension, the fewer bumps you’ll feel while driving off-road. A better suspension also helps to protect the vehicle when you’re going off-road, as the inner components won’t jostle around as much. Learn about the suspension system of any vehicle you’re considering as an off-road vehicle. Ground Clearance One important factor that’s often overlooked when shopping for an off-road vehicle is ground clearance. This is the space between the road surface and the underside of your vehicle. If you don’t have significant ground clearance and take your vehicle off-road, you may find that the bottom of the vehicle hits the ground. This can damage the underside of your vehicle and cause significant problems. Look for an off-road vehicle that offers substantial ground clearance, as this’ll give you the best protection. Safety Features Finally, make sure the vehicle you get has safety features with off-roading in mind. For example, one feature you might want to look for is stability control, which helps to balance out the vehicle and prevent it from tipping. Go through the list of safety features for the vehicle and see which ones would specifically protect you while you’re off-roading. 2023 Colorado Off-Road Features If you’re looking for a great off-roading truck, you should strongly consider the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado. For starters, you can get all-terrain tires included standard with the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado, giving you the best possible grip on whatever road surface you choose. Beyond that, the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado comes with a powerful 310 horsepower engine that produces 430 lb-ft of torque. This should be more than enough for your off-roading adventures, even if you have significant weight in the bed of the truck. The interior is also ready for your off-roading adventures. The inside features a rugged yet stylish design, capable of handling some wear and tear. The next time you go off-roading, you won’t have to stress about bringing the elements inside, as the interior of the truck is designed with this in mind. The 2023 Chevrolet Colorado also allows drivers to easily switch between four different drive modes, one of which is designed for off-roading. This means you can quickly optimize the driving experience when you go off-road, then switch back when you return to the main roads. Finally, the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado features 10 exterior cameras so that you can easily see what’s around your truck, which is especially useful when you’re off the beaten trail. Which 2023 Chevrolet Colorado Trim Is Best for Off-Roading? There are several trim options available for the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado, some of which are better for off-roading than others. If you want the best off-roading experience, you’ll want to take a look at the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. The ZR2 comes with an additional 3 inches of suspension to better protect the underside of the vehicle. On top of that, the ZR2 comes in a wider stance, which not only gives you more room inside but also helps to stabilize the vehicle as you’re driving. For a more affordable option, check out the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss. This model also features a wider stance, but it only has 2 extra inches of suspension instead of 3. The torque is also a little less on the Trail Boss compared to the ZR2, but the horsepower remains the same. The Trail Boss model is a great way to save some money on the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado without sacrificing too much in terms of off-roading capabilities. Learn More About the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado in Clarksville As you can see, the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado features basically everything you’d want in an off-road vehicle. 5 Must-Try Restaurants in Fells Point

Even though we’ve had the pleasure of helping you get to and from the important business of your life for years, at Koons Clarksville Chevrolet GMC we also understand that it’s important to reward yourself with some quality time away from the daily grind. When that time comes, we’ve got a great suggestion for you: fine dining in Fells Point. If you’ve never heard of Fells Point, it’s been a busy part of the Baltimore, Maryland, waterfront since the city was very young, becoming a renowned center for shipbuilding and commerce in the mid-1700s. But eventually, the demand for ships dwindled, and commerce shifted to the Inner Harbor. By the mid-twentieth century, Fells Point had fallen into a neglected, struggling neighborhood of mostly old warehouses. But in the last fifty years, some wonderful things have happened in Fells Point. It was officially recognized in the National Register of Historic Places, preserving its historic significance and charm. It’s also become home to some of the finest shops, bars, and restaurants in the Baltimore area, springing up in historic buildings that are sometimes rustic and sometimes beautifully restored. Here are five Fells Point restaurants you won’t want to miss. Thames Street Oyster House When the Thames Street Oyster House opened in 2011, it brought some unique flavors to the Baltimore area, adding Mid-Atlantic and New England styles to the local Maryland style of seafood. Since then, the Thames Street Oyster House has become one of the most popular seafood places in Fells Point. Seating is limited, and the restaurant recommends making reservations in advance, if possible. Thames Street Oyster House serves a lot more than the highest quality oysters. Along with lighter items, such as crab soup, seafood salad, and lobster stew, you’ll find an enticing range of seafood, from good old fish and chips to elegant entrees like North Atlantic monkfish and Maine lobster. Location: 1728 Thames St., Baltimore, MD Hours: Monday through Thursday: 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. lunch service; 5 to 9:30 p.m. dinner service; raw bar and cocktails available between lunch and dinner service. Phone: 443-449-7726 Blue Moon Cafe Among the many great seafood-themed restaurants in Fells Point, the Blue Moon Cafe has always had the heart of a diner, specializing in breakfast food since 1996, when Sarah Simington and her mother Sherri opened the edgy and stylish cafe. The Blue Moon Cafe is famous for its huge breakfast menu, featuring loaded scrambles, an incredible variety of pancakes (including chocolate chip, and bacon-and-apple), nine kinds of omelets, and benedict choices that include Maryland crab. One menu item the Blue Moon Cafe is famous for is something unique: Captain Crunch French Toast. Location: 1621 Aliceanna St., Baltimore, MD Hours: Weekdays: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Weekends: open 24 hours Phone: 410-522-3940 Max’s Taphouse If you love beer, you’re going to love Max’s Taphouse. The historic building has been many things in the past, but it became Max’s Taphouse in 1986 and has been a special place for locals and visitors to gather ever since. The rumors of a haunted third floor and basement only add to the excitement of drinking and dining in its energetic atmosphere. The beautiful building near the Fells Point waterfront lives up to its name, with over a hundred draft lines and a collection of more than a thousand bottles and cans of beer. But Max’s Taphouse is also an amazing smokehouse, smoking its own beef, turkey, and pork. You’ll love trying their different sauces with ribs or any of their smoked meat dishes. Location: 737 S. Broadway, Baltimore, MD Hours: Tuesday through Thursday: 11:30 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday: 11:30 a.m. until late Sunday: 11:30 a.m. to midnight Monday: closed Phone: 410-675-6297 One-Eyed Mike’s On the edge of Fells Point, One-Eyed Mike’s is known for its inviting atmosphere and friendly service. It’s also a place that takes its Grand Marnier seriously. As part of a network of Grand Marnier Clubs, club members gather to enjoy the many varieties of this outstanding French liqueur. The menu of American classics offers such standards as burgers, steak, and even duck. But of course, this is balanced by a wonderful selection of local seafood dishes, including oysters, crab cakes, mussels, and scallops. Location: 708 S. Bond St., Baltimore, MD Hours: Wednesday through Saturday: kitchen open 5 to 10 p.m., bar open 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday through Tuesday: closed Phone: 410-327-0445 Bertha’s Mussels It was the early 1970s when Tony and Laura Norris purchased the struggling Lone Star Bar and led the way in lifting Fells Point to a location for great food, spirits, and entertainment. Inspired by a stained glass window Tony found that memorialized a woman named Bertha (and which now decorates the establishment), it was renamed Bertha’s Mussels, serving quality food and drink ever since. With mussels as part of the name, you know Bertha’s Mussels is going to be a fantastic place if you love local seafood, but especially mussels. The variety of mussel dishes on the menu includes marinara, garlic butter, garlic butter with anchovies, garlic butter with spinach and tarragon, white wine, and coconut Thai chili. 2023 Chevy Camaro 0-60 Speeds for All Trims

What could be more exciting than a test drive in the Chevrolet Camaro, one of the most recognizable American muscle cars of all time? If you're ready to command the Clarksville roads like never before, there's a wide range of new Camaro trims to choose from. You may be curious about the differences in performance, style, and features offered in each of the eight trim levels. In that case, Koons Clarksville Chevrolet GMC has you covered. Let's take a look at the 2023 Chevrolet Camaro trim levels and discover how fast they can take you from zero to 60. 2023 Camaro 1LS Despite being the entry-level Camaro, the 1LS comes with a wealth of convenient and comfortable features, like proximity keyless entry with push-button start and an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat. Standard equipment includes 18-inch silver-painted aluminum wheels, full power controls for the windows, door locks, exterior mirrors, and both LED-bulb headlights and daytime running lights. The 1LS is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual transmission and an available 10-speed automatic transmission. A limited-slip differential is standard with either configuration. A 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is also included, along with a tire fill alert, cruise control, and a leather-wrapped manual tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel. 2023 Camaro 1LT The 1LT doesn't add much to the 1LS's standard kit, but it has a more extensive list of optional packages. Among the highlights is the option to swap out the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine for a 3.6-liter V-6 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This engine is also available on the 2LT. The 1LT model includes satellite radio and a six-way power-adjustable front passenger seat. Add the Technology Package, featuring an enhanced satellite-radio experience and a nine-speaker premium Bose audio system, if you wish. 2023 Camaro 2LT Buyers of the 2LT can choose between the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or the 3.6-liter V-6. Optional packages are generally identical to the 1LT. For new standard features, you get dual-zone automatic climate control, an ambient temperature display, heated and ventilated front seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and a six-way power-adjustable front passenger seat. 2023 Camaro 3LT Including everything from the 2LT and Technology Package, the new Camaro 3LT adds an 8-inch touch screen, wireless phone charging, and a head-up display. Other additions include a digital rearview mirror, an 8-inch color adjustable digital gauge cluster, and a heated steering wheel. Memory settings for the driver's seat and outboard mirrors are also included, as are heated outboard mirrors and an auto-dimming driver's side outboard mirror. The 3LT is the first trim level to receive enhanced driving assistance features. Forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist are among the guidance and protection systems. 2023 Camaro LT1 The LT1 represents the first step toward serious Camaro performance. A 455 horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8 is standard on the LT1 and the two trims above it. This V-8 comes with a six-speed manual transmission or an optional 10-speed automatic transmission. Chevrolet also outfits the LT1 with 20-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, and powerful Brembo brakes. Aside from the V-8 engine upgrade, the LT1 focuses on superior performance at an accessible price point. Its standard content is nearly identical to the 1LT, so in exchange for a more affordable price on the first trim with a V-8, you'll drop the advanced driving aids, Bose audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and other highlights from the 2LT and 3LT. 2023 Camaro 1SS The 1SS restores some of the LT1's amenities, including an 8-inch touch screen, enhanced satellite-radio functionality, and an 8-inch color-adjustable driver display. You also get improved Brembo rear brakes, LED lighting, and additional cooling components for the gearbox, engine, oil, and rear differential. A head-up display and other interior technology upgrades appear as standard features, and many of the optional appearance packages from previous trims are still available. The Track Performance Package adds Recaro performance seats, a rear spoiler, magnetic ride control, and a sportier suspension. 2023 Camaro 2SS The 2SS is the lineup's high-performance luxury model. It retains nearly all of the goodies of the 3LT, including the head-up display, Bose audio system, wireless phone charging, and advanced driver assistance. The 6.2-liter V-8 engine and SS performance kit are standard, as are a heated steering wheel and heated leather front seats. Built-in navigation is also made standard, and like the 1SS, an electronically adjustable suspension is available as an option. 2023 Camaro ZL1 The engine in the Camaro ZL1 model is a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8, begging to be tested on the track with 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Like the other V-8, it's connected to a six-speed manual transmission or an optional 10-speed automatic transmission. Larger Brembo brakes have been added in the front and rear, as well as a more robust cooling system suitable for high-performance driving. This famous sports car blends aerodynamic performance with vintage flair, drawing attention everywhere it goes. The sculptural decklid, horizontal lighting, and rear diffuser complete the eye-catching appearance on the inside. Perhaps most appealing of all is the heated and ventilated Recaro racing seats. 2023 Camaro Engine Zero to 60 Times In every configuration, the Camaro is remarkably fast. The standard 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine gets from zero to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds and boasts excellent acceleration overall. Camaro models featuring the 3.6-liter V-6 engine have a 5.0-second sprint to 60 mph. If speed is what you're after, look no further than Camaro models featuring the muscle of a V-8 engine. The LT1 and SS variants have the 6.2-liter V-8 engine and a zero to 60 mph time of 4.0 seconds. That engine is supercharged in ZL1 versions, allowing it to reach 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and complete a quarter-mile run in 11.4 seconds. The Camaro manages to be a fantastic throwback to past generations while continually improving its powertrain potential.
